Description: The Macallan 25 Years Old Sherry Oak is one of the most revered expressions in single malt Scotch, matured for a quarter of a century exclusively in hand-picked sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. The result is a rich, dark mahogany whisky layered with dried fruits, orange, wood smoke and spice. This pre-2018 bottling dates from the tenure of Bob Dalgarno, The Macallan’s celebrated Whisky Maker for over two decades, whose era is highly regarded among collectors. With older Sherry Oak releases becoming increasingly difficult to source, this is a prized addition to any serious whisky collection.   Auction Details Date: Friday, 23 October 2026 Time: 02:00 pm Venue: Live & Virtual Online Auction - Live Venue: 26 Melville Road, Illovo, Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) Viewings: On the day of the auction at 26 Melville Road, Illovo, Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS)
