Description: The Glenlivet 40 Year Old is the oldest permanent expression ever released by the distillery. After more than four decades of maturation, the whisky is finished in bespoke sherry casks from Jerez, seasoned with a blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherries, and bottled at cask strength of 46.9% ABV. Expect poached plums, charred orange, dark cherries, warming spice and braised red apples, leading to a long and sweet finish.
